The Wizard of Oz tells the wonderful, whimsical, and historic coming-of-age fantasy adventure of Dorothy Gale, a young farm girl from Kansas whose ordinary life is completely disrupted when a terrifying cyclone sweeps through her rural homestead. Transported alongside her loyal dog Toto to the magical and unpredictable Land of Oz, Dorothy finds herself stranded far away from home. To find her way back, she must embark on an enchanting trek down the famous Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to request the aid of the wonderfully mysterious Wizard of Oz. Along her perilous journey, she meets and befriends three iconic companions, each seeking a vital virtue from the Wizard: a Scarecrow desiring a brain, a Tin Woodman longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion searching for courage. Together, the travelers must combine their strengths to overcome the schemes of the Wicked Witch of the West, discovering that the true power to achieve their deepest desires lay within themselves all along.
