Diwan Cinema Radio branch is happy to announce the opening of “In The Eye of the Beholder” exhibition by Shereen Ragab. Join us this Monday at 6pm at our newest branch in Downtown Cairo to explore Shereen’s captivating artwork.
About the author:
I’ve had a passion towards painting since I was four, my mom helped me in developing my artistic skills. I believe that any kind of art isn’t about acquiring the best drawing and painting skills, it’s all about feelings and sensations. This is the only thing that makes an artist unique, that’s why I decided to follow my feelings in everything I do.
I started to paint and follow the steps of great artists in Egypt like Khalid Ragab and Mohamed Elazhary. They helped me to understand many things about art, I painted hyper realism style, impressionism, and tried different styles of painting. I’m in love with oil paints, I feel it takes me to a wonderland. I also took online private art courses with Netherland-based artist Mahmoud Badarni, who taught me abstract art. Finally, I discovered and reached my own painting style.
