• Bio: Mai Serhan is a writer, translator, and Managing Editor of Rowayat, a literary journal. She holds a BA in English & Comparative Literature and MA in Arabic Studies from the American University in Cairo, as well as an MSt in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford. She is the recipient of the Narratively Memoir Prize for her story, The Renegades: a story of Palestinian diaspora, the Center for Book Arts Poetry Chapbook Award for her collection, Cairo: the undelivered letters, and the Master’s in Creative Writing FH Pasby Prize from the University of Oxford.
