(2018) Kids going from grade three to grade four will be able to better maintain the skills they’ve gained, making them fully prepared for the upcoming school year, by using the Evan-Moor Daily Summer Activities, Between 3rd Grade and 4th Grade Activity Book. Our age appropriate activities will ensure the jump from gr. 3 to gr. 4 will be a smooth one for your child. By giving students specific lessons on multiplication, division, fractions and word problems, third graders who are moving into fourth grade will be more confident from the first day of school onward. Students also will work on lessons in reading, writing and geography with our recently revised workbook. Mathematics Skills – Our summer activity workbook includes help with age appropriate math skills, including multiplication, division, addition and subtraction Basic Geography Work – Young students will gain an understanding of how to read a map, as well as learning about common map symbols Parts of Speech – Soon-to-be fourth graders will gain an introductory knowledge of things like antonyms, synonyms and homophones Reading Comprehension Help – Children will read a couple of stories each week and then answer review questions, helping them develop reading comprehension skills Daily Lessons – Kids can complete one or two lessons per day over a 10-week period, leaving plenty of time for both educational work and other summer activities
